Love it or hate it, Barangaroo is where the action is. The newest eateries, groovy cafes, hip bars, it has it all. Anason has been flying the Turkish Cuisine flag from day one and they’re doing an amazing job. A regular in the best restaurants of Sydney lists, Anason is frequently booked out.
Most of us haven’t been there or looking for an excuse to go back there. A special Bosphorus Meyhane style event could be the right excuse! If you feel nostalgic about the restaurants by the Bosphorus, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how close Barangaroo is to the harbour.
Expect some of the classical meyhane dishes like pastirma, ezme, feta and melon with Anason’s specialties stuffed mussels, topik, lakerda and charred octopus. We’ll share the menu shortly, but just a heads up the world famous Imam Cagdas baklava will find a way to your table all the way from Gaziantep!
This is a ticketed event and ticket purchases must be made in advance. Anason is a smaller venue so the numbers will be very limited. We highly recommend that you to get your tickets before it is sold out.
Ticket: Your ticket will get you one drink and meyhane food (mezes, meat dishes and dessert shared in meyhane style)
