Join the Champagne Goddess Susan Le Roux and Hugues Villemain of Champagne Brimoncourt, one of the newest independant Champagne Houses gaining popularity in Australia since its arrival in 2014.
Perfectly matched to four sumptuous courses created by Chef Cameron Johnston, the Brimoncourt Champagnes: 'Free-spirited wines of a relaxed elegance and sophistication' will be brought to life.
Commencing with the Brut Régence, Hugues will share the history and the vision of the Brimoncourt House since 2008, when Mr. Alexandre Cornot woke up the dormant Brimoncourt to turn it into a bright and bold Champagne Maison. The aperitif styles of the wines will keep the palate fresh: as Hugues and Susan present the Brut Rosé, the Blanc de Blancs, and finish with the 'piéce de resistance' the Extra Brut, a style gaining popularity for a reduced 'doage' of only 2gm/litre of sugar.
The night will finish with 'fromage' and the opportunity to purchase a glass of Bordeaux or Beaune from St Claude's excellent wine-list.
