Burgers by Josh has been popping up in all sorts of places. Chef Josh Arthurs started off at Danno’s Café in Dee Why, where his double-decker-scaling burgers first gained celebrity. Then he branched off on his own, popping up at various joints in the city before heading to North Sydney’s Upper Deck. He's still the man behind the food menu at the Annandale Hotel, but now he has set up an independent burger shop back in North Sydney in the Greenwood Plaza.
And it makes sense too. North Sydney is a corporate hub and we saw how hungry for burgers the office population were when Five Point Burgers opened to huge lines and high praise.
And now Burgers by Josh has gifted us a new burger destination to help break up the none-to-five with ludicrous-sized, multi-patty creations. Good luck finding an easy way to get your hands around one. The Scorpio is a daunting stack of spicy chicken, a wagyu patty, bacon and coleslaw, all slammed between a soft bun and the Infamous Primo features two 160g-wagyu patties; double melted American cheese (the same brand that In-N-Out use); chipotle mayo; a layer each of super-crisp bacon and beer battered onion rings, a pile of spicy pickled jalapeńos and few token leaves of iceberg lettuce.
