They said there was no such thing as a free lunch. They were (almost) wrong.
Legendary Malaysian restaurant PappaRich will be dishing out their famous nasi lemak in Sydney’s Martin Place.
While no money will change hands, customers can simply ‘pay’ for their lunch by downloading PappaRich’s new foodie app and showing one of the friendly staff on the day.
The PappaRich pop-up kitchen will freshly cook the nasi lemak and hand out up to 800 free serves on the day, delivering its authentic Malaysian flavours to the people of Sydney (once they have downloaded the app!).
Nasi lemak is a traditional Malaysian dish including rice, fried chicken, fried peanuts, boiled egg, fine cucumber slices and spicy sambal.
Come down to the PappaRich tent and try it for yourself!
Look for the hot pink tent!
WHEN: Thursday May 11th
